Role Overview
A reputed textile group in the UAE is seeking a high-caliber Head of Global Textile Business / Senior Commercial Leader to take complete ownership of a global textile fabrics trading and sourcing business. This is an executive leadership mandate for an industry expert with deep fabric knowledge, strong commercial instincts, established international networks, and a proven ability to drive sustainable business growth across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Business Development: Drive global sales and market expansion strategies for bulk textile fabrics.
- International Sourcing: Lead international fabric sourcing strategy across key manufacturing hubs in Japan, Europe, and Asia.
- GCC & Regional Operations: Leverage and expand existing customer relationships across the GCC and enter new international territories.
- Commercial Negotiation: Oversee pricing structures, commercial negotiations, and sourcing frameworks to drive profitability.
- China Office Coordination: Collaborate closely with the group’s established China presence for seamless procurement and execution.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Streamline global shipping, logistics, and supply chain operations for maximum efficiency.
- Leadership: Build, mentor, and direct a high-performing commercial team to sustain long-term growth.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years of proven commercial experience in fabric sales, textile trading, or international fabric sourcing.
- Technical Depth: Hands-on, comprehensive knowledge of textile/fabric products and manufacturing processes.
- Industry Network: Strong, established relationships with textile wholesalers, traders, garment manufacturers, and global buyers.
- Regional Expertise: Prior experience navigating GCC and China textile trade ecosystems is highly advantageous.
- Core Skills: Exceptional negotiation, strategic relationship management, and commercial leadership capabilities.
