Senior Merchandiser (Knits)

Position Overview

Asmara India is seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser (Knits) in Tirupur. The ideal candidate will possess 7 to 10 years of experience in men’s and women’s knitted garments, with strong exposure to both factory and buying-house environments, alongside product development and production oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute open costing and lead strategic vendor negotiations.
• Manage complete sampling follow-ups (Proto and Salesman Samples – SMS).
• Conduct thorough Tech Pack studies and maintain accurate TNA (Time & Action) tracking.
• Lead pre-production (PP) meetings and ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate shipment schedules directly with Quality Control (QC) teams.
