Position Overview
Evolv Clothing Company, a premier manufacturer with 50+ years of legacy supplying global brands in the UK, Europe, and US, is hiring a Technical Head (Sampling & Development) in Chennai. This critical position leads the technical team to ensure on-time, right-first-time sample delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Tech Pack reviews, product feasibility, and fit sessions.
- Manage sample room output and ensure smooth handover from sampling to production.
- Train and develop garment technicians to maintain high standards.
- Measure and optimize performance based on right-first-time and on-time sample metrics.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10–15 years in export apparel technical or sampling roles, with experience leading teams across women’s, kids’, and men’s wovens.
- Education: Degree in Garment, Fashion, or Textile Technology from NIFT or equivalent (Postgraduate qualification is a plus).
