Garware Technical Fibres is seeking a motivated Executive – Vendor Management to support logistics, transportation, inventory control, dispatch, and warehouse coordination at its Wai, Satara location.
This opportunity is suitable for professionals with 2–5 years of experience who can coordinate effectively with suppliers, transporters, warehouse teams, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely movement of materials.
💼 Key Responsibilities
🚚 Logistics & Transportation
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor transportation, dispatches, and deliveries.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation or delivery issues promptly.
📦 Inventory & Warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and dispatch records.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management.
- Assist with warehouse operations, material handling, and stock audits.
🤝 Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, warehouse teams, and customers.
- Work with internal departments to ensure timely material availability and dispatch.
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
📊 Reporting & Cost Optimization
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports and MIS.
- Analyze logistics costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain timely and accurate logistics documentation.
🎓 Eligibility & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years in a relevant logistics, vendor management, dispatch, inventory, or supply chain role.
- Education: Diploma, BE, or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to track shipments, maintain records, and coordinate multiple operational activities.
- Strong attention to documentation, inventory accuracy, safety, and timely deliveries.
- A cost-conscious and process-oriented approach to logistics operations.
