About the Role

We are partnering with a highly successful British fashion and lifestyle brand to recruit a commercially driven Womenswear Merchandiser. Joining on a fixed-term contract, you will play a crucial role in maximizing commercial performance through expert financial planning, Open to Buy (OTB) management, and dynamic in-season trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of financial performance, managing sales, margins, stock levels, and intake.
• Manage OTB to perfectly balance stock availability, sales performance, and cash flow.
• Lead weekly trading meetings and drive seasonal range planning with Buying and Design teams.
• Analyze weekly/monthly trading metrics to provide actionable commercial insights.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Assistant and Trainee Merchandisers.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven Merchandiser experience within fashion, lifestyle, or retail.
• Highly analytical and confident in interpreting complex data for strategic decisions.
• Strong understanding of OTB, category budgets, margins, and markdowns.
• Passionate about product with an interest in responsible sourcing and sustainability.
