Ralph Lauren, a globally recognized premium lifestyle company, is seeking an experienced Bangladesh Sourcing Lead to establish and develop its sourcing operations in the country.
Based in Dhaka and reporting to the Regional Sourcing Operations Lead for South Asia, this senior leadership role will shape the country’s sourcing strategy, identify new supplier opportunities, strengthen vendor partnerships, and build a high-performing team aligned with regional and global business priorities.
The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with deep knowledge of Bangladesh’s apparel manufacturing industry, end-to-end sourcing, product development, production execution, quality, and sustainability.
💼 Key Responsibilities
🎯 Sourcing Strategy
Develop long-term sourcing and product allocation strategies with regional and global teams. Identify high-potential suppliers and build a vendor base aligned with business objectives.
📈 Business & Cost Management
Identify new product opportunities, use market intelligence, and establish sustainable costing frameworks that balance product quality, responsible purchasing, and profitability.
⚙️ Operational Excellence
Strengthen sourcing processes, uphold company policies and integrity standards, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
🤝 Vendor Partnerships
Build productive relationships with suppliers, regional leaders, and cross-functional teams while developing strategic, long-term supplier partnerships.
🧵 Fabric & Raw Materials
Drive fabric innovation and brand alignment while developing a strong supplier network focused on quality, design, sustainability, cost, delivery, and risk mitigation.

🎓 Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably across multiple sourcing countries.
- Business leadership experience with reputed global retailers, ideally US-based or premium brands.
- Extensive experience working in or with Bangladesh, including strong knowledge of local suppliers, manufacturing capabilities, industry developments, risks, and opportunities.
- End-to-end merchandising and sourcing expertise covering product development, production, quality, sustainability, and social compliance.
- Strong expertise in cost negotiations, capacity planning, T&A management, production execution, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Knowledge of garment and fabric construction, testing protocols, quality standards, and product integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop supplier partnerships, manage risks, and deliver business results with integrity.
- Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and people development skills.
