About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser for woven garment exports to manage orders from product development and order confirmation through bulk production and final shipment. The ideal candidate will coordinate with international buyers, manage costing, ensure product quality, and deliver orders within agreed timelines and international export standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Buyer Management: Coordinate with international buyers and overseas buying offices, manage purchase orders, approvals, buyer queries, order confirmations, and shipment updates.
• Product Development: Handle woven shirts, trousers, chinos, shorts, jackets, and other woven apparel. Coordinate proto, fit, size-set, pre-production, and TOP samples.
• Material and Sample Follow-up: Track fabrics, lab dips, trims, prints, embroidery, and garment approvals.
• Costing and Order Execution: Prepare garment costing, fabric consumption, and price quotations. Negotiate prices, manage cost revisions, and review tech packs, BOMs, measurement charts, and purchase orders.
• Production Coordination: Maintain T&A calendars and critical-path follow-up. Coordinate with planning, cutting, stitching, finishing, QA, and packing teams.
• Quality and Delivery: Monitor production progress, resolve delays, and ensure buyer quality standards and approved specifications are maintained.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in woven garment merchandising.
• Experience in an apparel export house or garment manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of woven garment product development and sampling.
• Knowledge of garment costing, fabric consumption, BOMs, and price negotiation.
• Ability to coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production teams, and quality departments.
• Strong order management, communication, and delivery-tracking skills.
