Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
Excom Fashions Ltd. is looking for proactive, smart, and detail-oriented Merchandisers to join their woven garment manufacturing operations in Savar, Dhaka. The position requires end-to-end merchandising execution from development to final shipment.
- Buyer Communication & Liaison: Maintain professional, clear, and proactive communication with international buyers and buying houses.
- Costing & Quotation: Prepare accurate garment costing, price negotiations, and consumption estimates for woven apparel lines.
- Time & Action (T&A) Calendar: Formulate and rigorously follow T&A schedules to ensure sample approvals, material in-house dates, and production milestones are met.
- Sampling & Product Development: Oversee sample development (fit, PP, TOP samples) in coordination with CAD, sample room, and technical teams.
- Production & Shipment Tracking: Monitor daily line production, resolve operational bottlenecks, and coordinate with commercial and logistics teams for timely dispatch.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in woven apparel merchandising within export-oriented RMG factories.
- Strong expertise in garment costing, fabric/trim sourcing, T&A tracking, and production execution.
- Preference given to candidates with exposure to global fast-fashion and branded buyers (e.g., Inditex/Zara, Mango, H&M, Uniqlo).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Based in or able to daily commute to Hemayetpur, Savar, Dhaka.
