Garment & Textile Production Manager Job – Kanpur

Key Responsibilities

• • Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to achieve targets.
• • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining required quality standards.
• • Monitor productivity, efficiency, manpower utilization, and machine performance.
• • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and production losses.
• • Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, IE, HR, and other departments for smooth operations.
• • Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization initiatives.
• • Develop, motivate, and lead production teams to achieve operational excellence.
• • Analyze production data and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• • Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.

Candidate Profile & Skills

• ✓ Strong leadership and team-management skills
• ✓ In-depth knowledge of garment/textile production processes
• ✓ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• ✓ Proven track record in production planning and target achievement
• ✓ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Kaizen & productivity tools (preferred)
• ✓ Good communication and cross-departmental coordination skills
• ✓ Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
