PPC Controller & Coordinator

Greige Fabric / Weaving Division — Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced fabric/weaving Production Planning and Control (PPC) professional to lead and coordinate operations for our high-capacity greige fabric business in Ichalkaranji. Managing a network of 300–400 job-work looms with a production capacity of approximately 50 lakh metres per month, this role is critical to maintaining high efficiency and seamless material flow across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Seamlessly align Sales, Yarn Purchase, Warping/Sizing, Contractual Weavers, and Dispatch operations.
• Material Feeding: Ensure continuous feeding of orders, beam yarn, and raw materials to job-work weavers without production downtime.
• Inventory Optimization: Maintain minimum yarn inventory while avoiding yarn shortages or stockouts across units.
• Delivery Commitments: Monitor production tracking and ensure 100% on-time order fulfillment and dispatch schedules.
• Operations Reporting: Work closely and report directly to the Head of Operations to fulfill key performance indicators (KPIs).

Candidate Requirements

• Domain Expertise: Proven experience in PPC operations within the fabric manufacturing/weaving sector.
• Multi-SKU Planning: Strong hands-on expertise in multi-SKU planning and complex scheduling.
• Outsourced Weaving: Practical experience in managing job-work weavers, sizing units, and contractual loom units.
• Scale Experience: Exposure to large-scale fabric production volumes and fast-paced dispatch environments.
