Job Overview

Heathertex Egypt is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to production improvement to join its manufacturing team in Alexandria.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies and establish standard operation times.
• Perform production line balancing and capacity analysis.
• Improve production efficiency and optimize manpower utilization.
• Develop and standardize production methods.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects.
• Support process optimization and productivity improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial engineering experience.
• Garment manufacturing experience is strongly preferred (candidates from other manufacturing industries with strong Lean Manufacturing and IE experience will also be considered).
• Good command of English is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of work study, time study, and production line balancing.
• Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Standardized Work, Waste Elimination).
• Knowledge of MTM, REFA, or similar work measurement systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and hands-on shop-floor improvement skills.
