Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic General Manager – Operations to lead a state-of-the-art high-fashion woven garment manufacturing unit equipped with the latest technology. The candidate will drive operational efficiency, manage large-scale shop floors, and maintain luxury standards with on-time delivery execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operations & Capacity Management: Oversee and manage a robust manufacturing floor equipped with 500+ machines.
• Cost, Quality & Delivery (CQD): Drive lean manufacturing principles to optimize operational costs while maintaining luxury standards, strict quality compliance, and timely dispatches.
• Process Optimization: Implement cutting-edge industrial engineering practices to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
• Leadership & Team Building: Mentor production heads, supervisors, and floor teams to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
• Supply Chain & Resource Planning: Coordinate cross-functionally with sourcing, planning, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless end-to-end execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-fashion or premium garment manufacturing.
• Education: B.Tech or degree background in Industrial Engineering (IE), Textile Technology, or related disciplines.
• Core Competencies: Expertise in managing large setups (500+ machines), deep understanding of premium garment construction, line balancing, SMV optimization, and quality systems (AQL).
• Leadership Traits: Strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to excel under dynamic fashion timelines.
