About the Role

Ritu Choudhary – Fashion Designer is looking for an experienced, professional, and responsible Fashion Merchandiser to join the team in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai. In this role, you will manage day-to-day merchandising and production coordination for a premium fashion studio. Candidates from related fashion backgrounds like apparel merchandising, sourcing, sampling, or fashion operations are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle client requirements and seamless order coordination.
• Coordinate between design, production, karigars, vendors, and clients.
• Prepare and maintain order sheets, measurements, costing, timelines, and production records.
• Oversee sampling, fabrics, embroidery, handwork, stitching, alterations, and finishing.
• Track orders from initial development phase through to final delivery.
• Manage regular follow-ups with outside karigars, workshops, embroidery units, and vendors.
• Maintain records of fabrics, trims, accessories, samples, and finished garments.
• Ensure all work complies with strict studio quality standards and delivery deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant experience in fashion/apparel merchandising or production coordination.
• Solid technical knowledge of garments, fabrics, embroidery, handwork, and tailoring processes.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and proactive follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a presentable, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and operate effectively in a luxury designer studio environment.
