Junior Merchandiser

Role Overview

A merchandiser in the textile industry acts as the crucial bridge between buyers/brands and the manufacturing unit, ensuring seamless order execution and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate the cost of garments based on fabric, trims, labor, and overheads to submit competitive quotes to buyers.
• Coordinate with the sampling department to develop prototypes (Proto, Fit, and Salesman samples) as per buyer specifications.
• Source high-quality fabrics, yarns, and accessories (buttons, zippers, labels) at optimal price points.
• Act as the primary point of contact for international and local buyers, providing regular order status updates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textiles, or Business.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
