Associate Merchandiser (Home-Rugs) – Williams-Sonoma

Job Description

The Associate Merchandiser is responsible for assisting the Merchandising team in their daily merchandising activities including sampling, order processing, reporting, and production tracking. They work in conjunction with WSI India QA to support the US-based team and factory needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development: Follow-up on T&A of sample development, prepare weekly progress reports to the US team, and coordinate sample dispatch.
• Vendor & Order Processing: Facilitate the on-boarding of new vendors and prepare necessary setup documents.
• Sourcing: Assist the merchandising team in sourcing new vendors when necessary.
• Development Trips: Arrange necessary documents and samples for the US team’s visit.
• Quality Assurance: Liaise with the QA team to arrange inspection schedules across factories.
